DIY Bow and Headband Holder

When I found out I was having a little girl, the first things that popped into my mind were pretty dresses and cute bows.

I definitely had a collection started and needed a cute way to display them. I wanted something that I could put right on her changing table so that when I was getting her ready for the day her accessories were right there. Plus, I love any excuse to get crafty!

First, I went to Hobby Lobby. If you have one of these stores locally, you know how amazing they are. Michael’s or JoAnn Fabric stores will also carry these items.

I bought some cardboard cylinders with lids. You can usually find them near the wooden letters and numbers.

Then, I collected a few fun ribbon patterns and decided to top it off with a huge flower for a little extra sass.

This is a very easy project, I just alternated the ribbon choices and hot glued them onto the cardboard cylinder. On the container that I wanted to use for flower clips and bows, I also added a vertical ribbon that I hot glued on the inside and also the outside at the top and bottom only so that it was loose going down the side— that way I could clip flowers and bows onto the ribbon.

If you are making this for your daughter, or to give as a gift, it will be praised by those who see it. It is a cute and inexpensive way for organization, and you can’t beat that!
