Little Tikes Snug n Secure Swing
We had an old swing in our backyard that was there for many, many years. It didn’t get used because it sat about five feet off the ground. I had been bugging my husband to let me get a swing for our daughter, Anna.
We bought the Little Tikes red and blue 2-in-1 Snug ‘n Secure Swing from WalMart a few months ago and we use it almost every day.
Anna sits very securely in the swing and she absolutely loves it!
Since we already had ropes in place from the old swing, my husband fashioned up some attachments that have about a 2,000 pound weight limit (safety first, lol) and attached them to the ropes of the swing.
We didn’t have any trees in our yard that would have been easy to attach the swing too, most are very mature. So, having a swing that was already there made it a pretty easy job!
As far as the swing itself goes, the straps are easily adjustable. I like to keep them pretty snug on Anna.
When she gets older the t-bar that the straps snap into and her legs stick through, can be folded down so that it is just like a regular swing with a back.
For the $20 we paid for the swing, I think it is a worthwhile investment for every family! It is one of the most used “toys” that my daughter has as we spend much of days outside enjoying the beautiful Ontario summer!.
What I Paid: $20 (+tax) on sale
Where I purchased: WalMart (Canada)
Average Cost: $20-$30
Where it is available: Amazon, Walmart, Toys R Us, LittleTikes.com

My mother in law has this for my daughter at her house and she loooooves it. I wish we could have one for her here, but we have nowhere to hang it

Debbie – me too! We have no trees on our property. It’s so cute though.

My son loves his swing as well… we have gotten more than 10x our money’s worth out of it.

We have the same swing in pink and Danica loves it. We don’t have big trees so it hangs from our patio cover.
