Thirty-One Vary You Backpack Purse Review and Giveaway!
When we’re going on a short trip though, it’s kind of a pain to tote around a big bulky diaper bag. That is why the Vary You Backpack Purse from Thirty-One Gifts is great. Independent director Annmarie Sayyarath was generous enough to pass it along to me to review.
Not only is the Vary You Backpack Purse cute with the fun design and color options, but it’s versatile and functional. There are pockets inside for your money, debit card and phone. There’s a zipped pocket on the flap that goes all the way down the back of the bag. In the main compartment, there’s plenty of room for a pack of wipes, a couple diapers, and a few other odds and ends.
It’s perfect for quick trips where you know you won’t be out for long periods of time with two kiddos in tow. I’ve also used this bag for some of my personal items. To avoid carrying multiple bags, I used it for my DSLR camera and extra lens the last time we went to Cedar Point.
The straps are pretty cool on this bag. You can wear them three different ways. You can use it as a cross-body hip bag or shoulder bag, you can wear it as a backpack, or you can fix the strap so that it’s a one-shoulder backpack style carry.
I’ve worn it all different ways. It was great on my back for when I was wearing my son on the front. It was also nice as a cross-body bag for when I felt it wouldn’t be secure to just carry on my shoulder as I normally would with a purse. The strap is adjustable too so you can shorten it or lengthen it to your desire.
Another product Annmarie sent me is the Timeless Beauty Bag. It has three clear PVC zipper pockets on the inside, as well as ‘brush’ holders (which I’ve also used for pens). It folds in thirds and snaps closed. One handle also unsnaps so that you can attach it to things easier, like the back of a car seat, a door handle, or a chair — wherever you need it.
I found this particular item so interesting because there are so many ways you can use it. Thirty-One consultant Annmarie Sayyarath showed a way to use it on her Facebook page as an ‘entertainment center’ in the car with an iPad on the top and other different activities in it to keep your child occupied during long trips. I’ve also seen where you can use it as ‘diaper central’ with your diapers and wipes stocked in it, a first aid kit, to hold snacks, etc. You can also use it for “mama stuff” like jewelry, accessories, makeup and toiletries while traveling.
Right now, I’m using it for my upcoming craft show with my money bag, scissors, pens, paper bags, business cards, price tags, and more. I usually carry all of that in a plastic bin the size of a shoe box, so this makes it a lot more convenient to carry, and easier to keep things organized! It’s so versatile, it can work for just about anything!
The last item I received was the Key Fob. It makes it easy to just ‘throw’ my keys into my bag. It has a round key ring on one end and a clip on the other. I carry mine clipped to each other (the clip is clipped to the ring) to form a ‘bracelet’ to slip on my wrist if needed or to clip to my purse. My husband and I switch vehicles often, so it also makes it a lot easier to remove or attach the car or house keys.
If you’re looking for a versatile bag that can be used for multiple purposes, definitely check out Thirty-One gifts. There are so many styles of handbags, organizers, totes and accessories in many different colors and patterns to choose from. Most items are also customizable! These bags will not disappoint!
