White Chocolate Oreo Truffles

White Chocolate Oreo Truffles…. Doesn’t that title just sound delicious?! This recipe is seriously yummy and so simple to make!

I especially love it because it is a no bake recipe, which is great during these hot summer days. I found this recipe while watching some videos by Candidmommy on YouTube.

Ingredients

  • One package of Oreo cookies (regular, not double stuffed)
  • One 8 oz package of cream cheese
  • 16-24 oz of white chocolate

You can add additional items like chocolate chips, food coloring, or sprinkles if you wish. You can also switch out the type of chocolate if you have a preference.

Directions:

1. Take out your cream cheese so that it softens. I usually cut mine up into about one inch cubes so that they soften faster.

2. Put the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they’re finely ground.

3. Add the cream cheese to the Oreo crumbles and combine well (stir and press together by hand if necessary so there are no chunks of cream cheese).

4. Using a melon baller, scoop the cookie mixture and drop onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Put the cookie sheet in the freezer so they’ll firm up a bit.

5. Using a double boiler (or a pot over another pot of water,) melt the white chocolate.

6. Remove the cookie balls from the freezer and roll them with your hands so they’re perfectly round.

7. Dip each cookie ball into the melted white chocolate and set back on the parchment paper.

Optional: If you’re going to decorate the truffles with sprinkles, chocolate chips or any other treat, do it now before the chocolate completely hardens so it will adhere to the truffle.

8. After you have dipped all of your truffles, put them into the fridge to harden up.

I recently made these for a surprise onesie decorating party/baby shower I hosted, they were a huge hit!
