Chocolaty Christmas Pretzels

If you haven’t seen these before, they have been floating all over Pinterest and I couldn’t help but make them this holiday season to give as gifts!

They are one of the easiest treats I have ever made, and are seriously addicting.

What you will need:

  • One bag of pretzel twists
  • Hershey Kisses (or Hugs work great too!)
  • Christmas colored plain M&M’s

I found that one bag of Kisses only makes about 35-40 of these treats, so in comparison to what you get in a bag of pretzels and M&M’s, you will need to buy a few bags of Kisses in order to make a lot!

  • Preheat your oven to 225 degrees F.
  • Spread out as many pretzel twists as you like onto a cookie sheet.

  • Unwrap the Hershey Kisses (this is probably the most time consuming part) and then place one Kiss on each pretzel.
  • Put your cookie sheet into the oven for about three minutes.  It won’t take very long for the chocolate to soften up.  You’ll know they are starting to melt when the chocolate is nice and shiny.

  • While you’re waiting, open up the M&M’s and put some into a small bowl so it’s easier to grab each one.

  • Take the cookie sheet out of the oven, and top each Kiss with an M&M right away before the chocolate starts to cool.

  • Once you’re done, leave everything on the cookie sheet to cool and then store your treats in an airtight container.
  • These freeze well or can be left room temperature. But I will warn you, if they are sitting out, they will disappear fast!

  1. I love this recipe! I made it last week for a holiday party I was hosting. I put them in the oven for an extra minute or two so the kisses flattened out more. But let’s be honest, how they look did not really matter to me :)
