Easy, No-Mess Way to Measure Peanut Butter

For some people, measuring peanut butter can be sticky and make a giant mess. I have a friend who actually told me she rarely bakes with peanut butter because it’s such a hassle!

Well, sit back. I’m about to change your life.

The easiest and most efficient way of measuring peanut butter is by volume.

For example, let’s say you want to make these amazingly delicious peanut butter cookies. For one batch, you’ll need one cup of peanut butter.

  • First, you’ll need a measuring cup that holds double the amount of peanut butter you need, in our case, a two-cup measuring cup.

  • Fill the measuring cup with water up to the one-cup line.

  • Put spoonfuls of peanut butter into the water until the water level rises to the two-cup mark. Make sure all the peanut butter is under the water.

  • Then dump out the water, and voila— you have exactly one cup of peanut butter left in your measuring cup!

Enjoy your peanut butter treats!
