Slow Cooker Pork Chops with Gravy

5 Ingredient Cooking - Slow Cooker Pork Chops with Gravy

I don’t even know where I originally got this recipe, so if you can take credit for it, please let me know. Because this recipe is one of the BEST slow cooker recipes I have made, I would love to thank the founder! It’s quick, easy, takes only 5-6 ingredients and is quite delicious.

If you are a meat and potatoes fan or a fan of gravy in any way, then this recipe needs to go in your meal rotation ASAP!

  • 3-5 boneless pork chops (I’ve also done this with bone-in chops and a pork roast – all work well)
  • 1 can of cream of condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 ½ cups of chicken stock or broth
  • 1 envelope of onion soup mix
  • 1 envelope of dry pork gravy
  • Cornstarch for thickening (optional)

  • Add the pork to the crock pot.
  • Combine the cream of chicken soup, chicken stock, onion soup and pork gravy mix and whisk or mix well.
  • Pour over the pork chops.

  • Cook on low for 5-7 hours. I cooked mine for seven hours because I added the pork chops frozen. Even so, 5-6 hours would have been plenty. But with seven hours of cooking, the pork was falling apart and incredibly tender.

  • Optional step: With about 30 minutes of cooking time left, combine 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and mix with a few tablespoons of water in a small container and shake to combine. Add to the crock pot and stir. This will thicken the gravy a bit.

But seriously – the gravy in this recipe is incredible and tastes fantastic over mashed potatoes, noodles or rice. I served it this time with mashed potatoes and acorn squash.

It was a tasty and delicious meal that reminded me of fall on a cool day in the summer.

Bon Appetite!
