Real mama Tiffani’s baby shower was a stunning event filled with beautiful decorations, family and friends, and tons of love for her new baby girl. The elegant location set the tone for this gorgeous party and her shower planning team made sure every detail fit the bill. This was truly a shower to remember.

Who threw your baby shower for you?

Many dear family members and close friends came together to throw us an extremely thoughtful and detail-orientated baby shower. People involved included my mother, mother-in- law, sister-in-laws and about five of my closest friends.

Was the shower co-ed or ladies only? Why did you decide to go that way?

The actual shower was ladies only, while the guys enjoyed cocktails on the lower deck of the restaurant. Afterwards everyone joined us in the event room and then the party continued into the evening on the pier.

How far along were you? Did you know the gender? Did that make a difference in the theme?

I was about seven months pregnant at my shower and still feeling good! It was in August, so it was quite hot out! We did know the gender; we would have a little girl, which absolutely made a difference when creating the theme: Sugar and Spice.

What was your favorite game that you played at the shower?

A friend of mine organized a Price is Right game geared on baby items, which was super fun for all of the guests. While opening gifts, the guests played Gift Bingo which is always a hit because it keeps everyone engaged and involved.

What was your favorite element of the shower?

It is hard to choose just one element. I would have to say one of my favorite elements of the shower was the gorgeous location on Solomon’s Island, and the absolute intricate details when it came to the décor. Everything, including the modern grey and white table runners and the vintage milk glass centerpieces, was breathtaking. And I can’t forget the sweets table which was loaded with awesome homemade treats!

If you were to throw a baby shower for your friend or relative what is one thing that you would use from the shower that you attended?

I would definitely use some of the décor ideas. Using vintage milk glass centerpieces and unique table runners always adds a personal and classy feel to any party. One really fun thing the hosts did was set up a long table for all of my girlfriends and me to sit at while we ate. It was super special touch for me, and a perfect chance for me to sit with ALL of my girlfriends on such a special day.
